Fallbrook has dentists. If you live off Main Avenue and the shortest possible drive is what matters most to you, one of them is probably the right answer, and I am not going to talk you out of it. Ten Years in the Navy, Sixteen in This Office
I finished dental school at UCLA and went straight into the Navy Dental Corps. My residency was at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton, which for a young dentist means volume and complexity you do not get anywhere else: trauma, surgical extractions, full-mouth work on young Marines who had not seen a toothbrush in a field rotation. I deployed to Kuwait and Iraq. In 2010 I opened a small general practice on Date Street in Murrieta and I have been in the same building ever since.
Two habits came out of that decade that I still use daily. The first is calm. Very little that walks through the door surprises me, and patients who arrive in a panic tend to settle once they see the dentist is not matching their energy. The second is a willingness to say no. In the Navy nobody sells dentistry. You fix what needs fixing and you move on. I never learned to upsell, and by the time I owned a practice it was too late to start.
I am licensed by the Dental Board of California and a member of the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association. My staff and I speak English, Spanish, and Vietnamese. The longer version is on my about page.
A note for Fallbrook readers specifically: Camp Pendleton is closer to you than my office is. If you are active duty and eligible for care on base, use it. Who I tend to see are the dependents, the retirees, and the folks whose base dental appointment is six weeks out and whose tooth hurts now.

Fallbrook, and the Drive From It
Fallbrook calls itself the Avocado Capital of the World, and it is an unincorporated town of groves, nurseries, and long driveways in northern San Diego County. Wonderful place to live. Genuinely inconvenient place to need a specialist. Residents already drive for most of their shopping and medical care, whether south toward Oceanside and Vista or north up the 15 toward Temecula and Murrieta, and dental care lands in the same calculation.
My patients come from Main Avenue and Morro Hills, from the Bonsall side of the San Luis Rey River, from Rainbow up near the county line, and from base housing at Pendleton. Most of them found me the same way: a weekend emergency, a phone call that got answered, and a problem fixed without turning into a five-figure treatment plan. The Fallbrook Regional Health District does good work connecting residents to local health resources, and I think of this office as part of the wider ring of care the town draws on.
Getting Here From Fallbrook

Yes, and it’s personal for me.
